Do you ever have those days where you can’t sit still and all you want to do is get up and dance? I’ll be honest, that’s pretty much every moment of my life… However! Lately it’s been even more so due to the change of scenery with the move from Boston to LA. It’s so hard being away from the people that I love, but California seems to suit me and although I’m utterly exhausted and completely run down, I know that there are bright, exciting opportunities ahead.

One of those opportunities came in the form of a collaboration with Banana Republic. Admittedly, I haven’t added a new Banana piece to my wardrobe in quite sometime so I was excited when I received flats with wrapping ties and a sweater so textured I could die. Both items are a cool, almost bohemian twist on classic styles and add a softness to the otherwise edginess of my overall look. In addition to basic styling and personal principles, I base my outfits on how I’m feeling on any given day. Today was a fun but jam packed so I went for a functional, comfortable look with statement accessories. I find that a good hat and bold sunglasses take any look from simple and predictable to badass and groovy.

If you’re feeling the groove too and want to add a little dance to your day, throw on this killer Ardalan mix of Kaskade & Cid, “Us”, and embrace the next 24 hours with full force.
