Recently, I’ve been focused on one thing when it comes to my personal style: comfort. It truly is key. Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and place for dressing up and looking your best (i.e. job interview, formal affair, etc.). However, in your day to day life, I am a firm believer that the more comfortable you are, the better you feel. That doesn’t mean that you always need to wear sweats or yoga pants, but adding pieces made of the same material can really elevate your comfort game.
Many times when I’m going for comfort, I chose jeans, a simple t-shirt and a sweater with some leather boots. A pair of relaxed joggers (like the ones I’m wearing in this post) are also great when paired with a sneaker or sandal. Neutral colors suit me best as it’s easier to mix and match when you’re working with a similar color palette. Usually if I want to spice it up, I add copious amounts of texture and pattern (while still keeping it tame in terms of color).
If Sunday Comfort and Athleisure had a baby, this outfit would be it! It’s neutral, has lots of different textures, yet still is relaxed and casual. In my opinion, this outfit is the perfect way to ensure your weekend (or weekday) is the most relaxing.
