Dunkin’ Donuts is the reason why I drink coffee. I distinctly remember when I was in 8th grade, I had slept over at a friend’s house after a Friday night dance class. It was recital season so we had an early morning of rehearsals the next morning and were in desperate need of energy. At the time, my friend had already begun drinking iced coffee. So, following suit, I decided to order my own. Let’s just say there was no turning back from that point. I quickly perfected my coffee order and I’m actually pretty proud to say that I nailed it the first time – the only change I’ve made since that first sip was less Splenda.
Two Saturdays ago, I had the pleasure of attending the first ever, Dunkin’ Donuts Instagram meetup at Hanson’s Farm in Framingham. Although it was an early start (I’m not a morning person), I was greeted with breakfast and coffee (perfectly prepared, I might add) and a shuttle full of smiling friends. Once we arrived at the farm, we completed a photo scavenger hunt, sampled some new Dunkin pumpkin items, enjoyed a hayride and survived a corn maze.
It’s events like this that make me so grateful for the blogging community. It’s not every weekend that you get to start your Saturday with Fall activities and really talented, creative people. Thanks to Dunkin’ Donuts, Smita of Hogger & Co. and Natalie of The Boston Day Book for organizing such an awesome morning!
