For a solid two months this summer, I scoured vintage and consignment stores for a good pair on denim shorts. Finally, I meandered into a shop in Venice Beach, California and discovered an entire rack of vintage Levis. “You have to try them all on to find the best fit,” the salesperson told me, and that’s exactly what I did. Twenty pairs (plus or minus a few) later, I reigned victorious, exiting the store with my purchase in hand. Since then I have lived in these cut-offs.

I styled these gems with an old H&M favorite of mine. I really love how this blouse drapes off of the shoulders and the deep V of the neck. I also think that it adds great visual interest when juxtaposed with the worn denim. Add my favorite Free People hat and a Tory Burch clutch and you’ve got yourself a great outfit for exploring the rest of summer!

  1. Finding the perfect pair of cut-offs is such a challenge but once you find them, they never come off! Too easy to not think and just pair every top with denim shorts, especially when it is hot. Love the hat by the way!

    • I completely agree! Glad you love the hat 🙂

Love the top! I bought a similar one about 1-2 years ago. Still stylish!
