Since moving to Los Angeles, life has been a total whirlwind. Partially because we moved here without a place to live.. partially because adulting seems way harder on the other side of the country. That being said, the unknown of moving to a new place where you don’t have your typical support system makes the feeling of accomplishment when you do it all by yourself so much sweeter. For example, in just one week’s time, Drew and I have found and moved into an apartment, scheduled a pod to deliver all of our furniture, and purchased a couch and refrigerator. Additionally, we’ve made some new friends, explored some new places, and attended Beyond Wonderland with our good friends Will Clarke and Billy Kenny. It feels really, really good!

Another thing that feels really, really good is supporting other artists and creatives in their passions. Connecting through collaboration is exactly how Drew and I became friends with Will and Billy and I’m so appreciative of not only our friendships, but the respect and encouragement exchanged on all levels. Recently on the February sailing of Holy Ship!, Will rocked a Mass Musings temporary tattoo during his set in the Black & White Lounge. Watching that live and then seeing it resurface in numerous photos from the cruise was not only a proud moment but meant so much to me knowing that I had a friend who wanted to support my endeavors too.

You can check out Will’s killer Holy Ship! set below and make sure you give both him and Billy a follow on social media!

  1. Congrats on such a successful move! That’s amazing that you’ve found an apartment, and have even started making friends!!

  2. I moved from Boston to LA a while back, with no place to live either. It was such a fun crazy experience, and how weird is it that where ever you move you take your refrigerator?!

Hope you are having a blast.!

    xx, Elise

    • SO weird!!! We were so shocked haha. Thanks for reading 🙂 xoxo

The west coast has the best vibe! We moved to San Francisco without a place to live when we moved from the east coast, and it has been the best decision. There’s so many creative people here – always surprised by who I meet! 😉

    • I’m so glad to hear you did the same thing and had success 🙂 xoxo
