It’s that time of year again. The sun is staying up longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the music community is ready for a full force festival season! Arguably my favorite time of the year, festival season brings all types of people together for the greater good of music.
To me, festival season is more than just fashion and who’s who in the scene. Festivals are a way to really search your soul for meaning, a way to figure out who you truly are and what you actually want out of life. Festivals are about connecting with people through music, something that transcends all boundaries and is made stronger with love. I will never forget my first festival experience at Electric Forest. My world was completed cracked open and I was exposed to an entire community of people who put positivity and acceptance above all else.
Since that experience, I’ve tried to expose my readers to every way that I enjoy festivals by creative photoshoots on style, music, and friends. This year, I teamed up with H&M and my dear friend Astrea to bring you some fun style inspiration, but I also wanted to share some festivals that are on my radar. Some of these festivals are smaller and more intimate than say Coachella, but they pack just as big of an emotional punch! Each festival below offers varying experiences and varying music genres so please visit the site and see which one might be the best fit for you.
