Mass Musings turns 3 this weekend. I can’t believe it. As cliche as it sounds, it feels like just yesterday that I was re-launching the site and celebrating year 2. But, cliches are cliches for a reason, they’re typically true.

As I reflect on the past year, I’m overwhelmed with so many emotions. I’m proud, appreciative, honored and excited. Proud that I’ve pushed my creative boundaries and put myself out there in a way that I never thought possible. Appreciative of every single person who follows my journey and supports what I’ve set out to do. Honored to be given the chance to inspire people with my philosophy on life. Excited for what is to come and how much further Mass Musings can go.

A big part of the Mass Musings philosophy, besides inspiring creatives everywhere, is acceptance, inclusion, and friendship. The people that I have met through this blog have changed my life and taught me things about the world and about myself that I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own. The first year that Mass Musings was live was the year that I attended my first music festival. What I experienced there was everything that I had been missing and everything that I wanted the blog to become : a community where people can be who they are and flourish as such. Three years later, I can happily say that has been accomplished. We have developed one crazy, ever growing tribe. We like to connect with nature and get inspired by our friends. We like to learn new things and teach others as well. It’s about the music, the makers, the relationships and the love. We are a tribe that is just as happy sitting on the beach reading a book as they are dancing their faces off at a show.

I’m so fortunate to be surrounded by such incredible, talented, loving and kind people. These are my friends who are supportive and nurturing, accepting and willing. I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am to share every day with the people I love and respect. It’s truly unbelievable.

To celebrate 3 years of Mass Musings, I present to you: Festival Season, the video.
