It’s no secret that I love Free People. What you may not know is that I also love Citizens of Humanity. Combine the two fashion powerhouses and what do you get? The most epic, awesome, flared jeans that ever existed.

Growing up in the 1990’s and 2000’s, I was ALL ABOUT flared denim (who wasn’t really?). The fact that this silhouette is coming back not only makes me happy, but also excited to finally have better options for switching up my jean game. I had a dress code all throughout middle/high school – it did not include jeans. So, I had mayyyyybe one pair until college (shocking, I know.). Fast forward to now and I might as well sleep in my denim.

What I love about this collaboration is that the hem is let out and there is a slight pattern which adds visual interest, giving the overall look some texture. Paired with this surprisingly flattering tunic and it’s now one of my new go-to looks!

And now I ask for your help! One of my greatest sources for creative inspiration is #FPME – you can search this hashtag on social media or download the Free People App for your phone. It’s free and super fun to interact with other like-minded and fashionable creatives in the world. If I get the most likes on my #getflared photos, I win the contest 🙂 Help a sistah out and vote? All you have to do is “heart” the photos in which I’m wearing these flares. I’d love you more than I already do (hard to believe I know)! Thanks in advance!
