Real Talk: It’s been almost 6 years since I started Mass Musings. I began my journey after I graduated in 2012 with and English degree and a Studio Art concentration. Since then, Mass Musings has evolved into so many things. It’s no longer a personal blog where I share my curated favorites. Now it has grown into something bigger than myself. It’s grown into a community of creative individuals who want to support and inspire. It’s a tribe of dope humans who are down to brave the snow with people that they’ve never met, in the name of art and community.

It’s felt like a scatterbrained journey, one that documented various phases of my life and the societal trends associated with those moments. It’s been a space for me to be vulnerable in hopes of inspiring others to do the same. It’s become a platform through which I’ve met some of my closest friends. 2018 has been a big year for Mass Musings and we aren’t even close to done yet. The tribe is in full force and I’m working on a few other big projects that will provide more for the community besides just encouragement and motivation. The world of blogging and social influence is changing and I want to make sure that I’m providing my community with all of the resources and support that they need.

What can you expect to see? Well I can’t tell you anything just yet but I will say that you can expect a lot more video and a lot more events coming your way (and not just in Denver!). In fact, just a couple weeks ago, I met up with some awesome creatives in RiNo, Denver for a collaborative meetup through The H Hub. It was snowing and freezing, but we had SO much fun. I mean really, how could you not with Wade Holland snowlerblading around the city? My favorite part of the day was when he literally skated into another group of photographers and we joined forces. How amazing is that? To be able to literally pick up random people on the street who want to create and be friends. It feels like a dream come true.

One of the people at the meetup was photographer Josh Block. I love Josh’s work and the consistency of his edits. He knows his style and has a great eye for both photo and video. He was kind enough to share an edit that he threw together from our day and I am stoked to share it with you. Please make sure to give him some love on Instagram and to visit his Website
