Two weeks ago, I ventured down to New York City for a weekend of friends, blogging and photo shoots. Liz, my gracious host, was my first friend at Gettysburg College (we make sure everyone knows it too)! During my four day stay, we managed to tour a solid portion of the city, attend the Caked Up show at Webster Hall, shop, and explore Brooklyn’s best attractions.

The main event was Smorgasburg, a Brooklyn Flea Food Market. Located just over the Brooklyn Bridge and chock full of local food vendors peddling their best sellers, Smorgasburg is a perfect way to spend a Sunday. I mean who doesn’t appreciate great food, nice weather, and a fantastic view?

What made it even better was meeting up with another Gettysburg friend Eric who shot the BROOKLYN post. I also got the opportunity to meet up with my new friend Ashli and it was too much fun. Of course, I snapped some pictures of my favorite moments through out the day. I hope that you enjoy re-living it as much as I do 🙂

  1. Ahh these pics are gorg! I have never been to the Brooklyn Flea Market but am DYING to. So hard to get my NYC friends to leave Manhattan whenever I’m down there gah!

    • Thank you Emily! I had never been either and was so glad I went. Next time I want to explore the other piers and see the other flea markets – Boston Blogger field trip?
