Lately, I’ve been all about mixing proportions and styles. While this concept is far from revolutionary in any regard, something just feels fun and fresh about challenging yourself to create more interesting outfits. Additionally, with the holidays coming up, I have to be extra careful about my spending, so getting creative and using only what I already own has been a necessity.

For this look, I paired a casual knit with patterned cotton pants and juxtaposed the two with a leather jacket and boots. This created a pulled together, laid-back chic look that I felt comfortable and confident in. Simple, easy, and out the door in 10 mins. If you’re an outfit over-planner, I suggest trying my approach and seeing what innovative looks you can come up with – I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the results!
