As I mentioned in my post about Lou & Grey and their new Natick store, I’ve found a new fashion go-to. One of the best things about becoming an adult is figuring out your wants and needs as well as likes and dislikes. It’s a complicated process but I’ve really enjoyed learning about myself and what I prefer to dress in. I’ve noticed that I tend to gravitate towards textures and simple silhouettes instead of the busy prints and contrasting colors like I used to. Don’t get me wrong, I still love a good print and adore color, I just chose to incorporate them into my wardrobe in other ways now.

While I was shopping, I noticed a script on the wall that really spoke to me:

This is a movement. We find freedom in following our instincts. There’s a desire to add texture to a life more considered. Strip away the unnecessary. Authenticity rules. Let your senses be your guide. Laugh out loud… louder. Ease into effortlessness. Comfortably confident & confidently comfortable. Nothing is ever defined by one thing. The ampersand is who we are. It’s a connector of endless possibilities. In our world, there’s no right way or wrong way.

I swear the team at Lou & Grey was in my head when they created that. That is exactly where I’m at in this journey and I’m happy to be sharing with you some style inspiration with Lou & Grey
