Lately, I’ve been taking my wellness routine a lot more seriously. Although I’ll always be one to live by the “treat yo’self” rule, I think it’s very important to balance most meals and consume the proper amount of fruits and veggies. The easiest way I’ve found to incorporate these into my daily diet is through smoothies and smoothie bowls.

What’s the difference between a smoothie and a smoothie bowl? Honestly, not much (the way I make it at least). I literally just pour my smoothie over granola, place slices banana around the edge of the bowl and then add more granola. Then I enjoy every single bite because it’s DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend trying Pain D’Avignon granola for your smoothie bowls. It’s not too sweet and has the perfect blend of honey, oats and nuts. I specifically like this type because it adds a heartier taste to my bowl, but any kind would work. I hope you like it!


1/2 Avocado

Handful of Blueberries

Handful of Spinach

8 Strawberries

2 tsp Lucuma Powder

Handful of Ice

1 cup Water


Put all ingredients in blender

Blend/Mix together until desired consistency is achieved

Pour over granola

Top with banana and enjoy!
